About the housemates:
Carrie (47), is a down-to-earth purveyor of good times and positive vibrations. When she’s not handling the Human Resources duties of her corporate life (while working from home) or crunching numbers on the side, she is eager to learn new things, explore unknown places, or try her hand at a crafty endeavor. Some of her favorite pastimes include prancing aka dancing, enjoying & playing music, hiking and gardening. Carrie is happiest when found in nature where she is surrounded by water and trees… and breathing.
Billy (50), is a yoga practitioner & musician (guitar, DJ, music production), active with multiple non-profit organizations serving people impacted by the justice system. Laid back with a zest for life, he is equally at home at home, in the kitchen, at the beach, at a yoga studio, on a trail, at a festival, or wherever good times, good vibes and adventure are to be discovered…

The ideal living situation would involve all housemates participating in:
· Semi-regular house meetings and group decision-making
· Fairly regular shared meals (preferably at least once a week)
· Direct communication and active conflict resolution
· System of organized household chore rotation
· Eco-Conscious Living “green”-mindedness: recycling, composting, gardening …there’s plenty of space in the backyard to utilize your green thumb.
The community that we intend to create will value diversity, foster creativity, and be queer and poly-friendly. With respect to ethical and other dietary restrictions, we would prefer to have a vegetarian kitchen, however this is not a deal-breaker.
All in all, we crave a household with some structure, but don’t want it to be overbearing or stifling. We wish to foster a sense of community, share new experiences, have fun, and enrich our lives and the lives of our community.
