I have been living in this space for 2 years and I love it. It is very close to main freeways, nightlife , restaurants and shops; the new NohoWest shopping center is 1.5 miles away & were surrounded by cute coffee shops. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Less than 10 minutes away from Ventura Blvd & close to many hiking trails, Fryman trail , Hollywood lake, Universal Studios , Sunday Farmers Market.There is plenty of street parking available and the building manager is very involved. The building has a pool , jacuzzi and community washer and dryer ($1 a wash 75 Cents to dry)
The space is a 2 bedroom , 2 bath apartment. The Master bedroom has a walk in closet and you will have your own bathroom with a shower filter provided for you The common areas , kitchen and living room are to be kept clean and free of clutter. I do allow 420 inside my house, however not in a habitual way aka hotboxing the room or apartment. the neighbors have a baby and I like to be respectful.
About me: I have a full schedule and will be in and out of my home depending on what day of the week it is. I enjoy cooking and often will have my music playing while doing chores. I am constantly cleaning , vacuum randomly if I see its needed, dusting a few shelves ( I like to maintain the cleanliness during the week) I live a very active lifestyle and also can relax all day. I host sound baths and small gatherings usually during a seasonal shift. I like my space and the silence this place provides. After a long day, I decompress by staring out the gorgeous view from the 3rd floor. The apartment is cozy, peaceful and inviting. I have friends come over fairly often to hang or go to the pool.
I’m looking for a (woman preferably but open to men if I feel the vibes are chill) who has steady income & is open minded. Brings peaceful energy & is mindful. Someone who would enjoy company from time to time, whether it’s making dinner together, helping each other out with chores or simply being a nice human. Someone who is clean, has good hygiene and can communicate boundaries/needs. I would like to be excited to come home to a welcoming roommate. We welcome you to stay in this peaceful and centrally-located private studio and shared smart house! This is a safe residential neighborhood with the perks of having an 85 walk score. It is within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and a 6 min drive to the beach (or 15 min on bike)! Not to mention the close proximity to LAX without the airplane noise. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress, dining table, and a flat-screen TV, play station, and a Firestick. The home comes with fully upgraded stainless steel appliances and luxury furnishings such as a full-size refrigerator, gas stove, and oven. For security, the front door is equipped with a Schlage lock in addition to multiple external Ring Cameras and floodlights (there are no cameras inside the unit). There is a shared yard with a basketball hoop and two patio lounge areas. One that is private to you and the other that is shared with my partner, myself, and our mini poodle. The space is ideal for outdoor bbq hangs since the weather is always perfect by the beach. You will also have access to the main house which includes a gourmet kitchen, living room with fireplace, guest room/office/music studio, and washer/dryer. Perfect to use it as a writing studio, office space, production studio etc. There is a Chalkboard wall by the little window. Window and patios face the backyard which shows some greenery 🙂 There isn’t a built-in closet, but the past tenants used either the rolling rack (bc they were a super minimalist or a tall double wardrobe closet.
(BESIDES THE MAIN KITCHEN YOU CAN USE – ) ALSO, There is a kitchenette area above your room which includes a small fridge, microwave, coffee machine, electric stove burners, conventional oven, sink with garbage disposal, and bar countertop with 2 stools. There is no one that sleeps above or below you, you will only share 1 wall with a roommate next door that is out of town a lot. The room is very secure, all side doors have a metal gated door and can be opened for fresh air. The room can be heated with an electrical heater during cold days.

One roommate works in marketing and promotions and is usually out of town. She is quiet and chill, sometimes on zoom calls for work. The guy roommate is a healer/ hypnotherapist and author. He’s usually either seeing clients, creating content for his work in his room, or in the kitchen making raw vegan food – he is at his one 2 offices days a week. I am a girl with a boyfriend, we have a health and wellness business and artist booking agency. We are typically gone about 9-12 days a month minimum.

The house is 3 bedroom, 2 bath. It has a cute vintage interior with a very large living room and dining room which we furnished to feel cozy and look stylish with lots of fun art and plants. The kitchen is super big with a ton of counter space and beautiful, custom-made, wooden cabinetry. The backyard has a covered deck and grassy area where we will be creating a perfect space for relaxing or working outdoors with various sitting areas, tables and a hammock. There’s a long driveway and plenty of street parking. There is also a laundry room with a new washer and dryer. There’s A/C throughout the whole house. We are located in South LA on W 73rd St near Western Avenue. There’s a vegan cafe just 3 minutes from us and a couple grocery stores just a mile away. We also discovered a super cute cafe (Awakening) just a 10 minute drive that has a gorgeous workspace with good food/ drinks. The neighborhood, itself, is very chill – quiet, surrounded by cute houses and trees.
