Hi conscious community! I just moved into a beautiful, full-of-character house in Eagle Rock/Highland Park area and am looking for a housemate to take the master bedroom. I’m 26, am a singer-songwriter-writer of other sorts (will be working from home often) and have a small hypo-allergenic dog. The rent for the master bedroom is $1750. There is central AC/heat, a washer-dryer, lovely kitchen, hardwood floors, a sweet backyard and your bedroom has a stained glass door. There are new skylights in the dining room which makes it so much brighter! Safe, walkable neighborhood near Occidental College. Message me if you’re interested ? Move in is flexible– I just moved in so your move in could be asap, or March 15. Ideally, no more pets, but can be flexible on this. What do you get in the house?
There are two bedrooms up for grabs, with a bathroom that will be all yours. One, 12′ x 11.5′, is the room that’s $1250. A second room can also be yours (10.5′ x 9 ¾’) for just another $350/month. Each has a closet that is the length of an entire wall. The rooms overlook a quiet enclosed courtyard, with good south facing windows to light your days. Use the second room as an office, gym, or storage, or use the small one for sleeping and the big one as a recording studio – it’s up to you how to optimize your space(s). The bedrooms in the townhouse are on the second floor, and living spaces are on the first floor. Main living spaces are already fully furnished, but if you have a few things you want to add we can work that out.
