I have a very spacious room available for rent in my charming two-story, two-bedroom apartment centrally located near The Grove/ Beverly Hills. There’s also a grotto-like backyard equipped with a sectional sofa, firepit, outdoor lighting, and a light canopy, great for dining under the stars or having a morning coffee.
The sizable room for rent is located on the second floor with high ceilings and a wall dedicated to closet space. The building itself is a charming, 1930’s tri-plex that has a lot of character: hardwood floors, crown molding, and high ceilings. The unit overlooks S. Orange Grove Ave with plenty of street (permit) parking in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is fully furnished with in-unit WASHER & DRYER thanks to yours truly, but the room for rent is not furnished.
Whoever takes the room will be sharing a bathroom (has both a separate shower AND tub) with a clean quiet guy (going through a divorce from husband, hence the room for rent). There’s also a powder room downstairs. But you’re free to use the common spaces and enjoy the amenities both indoor and outdoor. Oh and there’s also one very sweet dog that likes to cuddle, Shelby.
Ideally, I’m looking for a young female professional that has an office job/does NOT work from home, a nurse would be great (!), and/or a young professional that travels a lot ?. I do work from home for the most part, but tend to travel here and there where I’m gone for a week at a time. I’m an interior designer, so let’s just say the place looks pretty amazing. The dining room is my office, but I’m open to clearing the laptop and design samples for an “adult contemporary” dinner party/ gathering.

SPACIOUS cinematic apartment central to ALL of LA!

My spot is close to the North Hollywood Arts District, Universal Studios, MANY cool bars, a huge Park, a handful of Starbucks’, ALL of the freeways and any type of restaurant you could hope for. Also, a ton of fast food is nearby as well. You’ll love my place because of the space & the location, it is the tip of the triangle! It will take you 20min to get to Silverlake on one side and 20min to get to the beach on the other! 10 min to Hollywood, 25min downtown. Close to Buses and The Metro!
I am seeking someone to take the guest or master bedroom. There are two bedrooms that are photographed (guest and master), please specify which one you’d like if you have a preference! Both have their own bathroom. The guest bedroom has dark blue paint & a chalk wall. The master bedroom is now painted white but shown with light & metallic blue paint here The dining room is no longer red, it has also been painted white.

What won me over about this space is… the space! The floorpan is so open and filled with daylight. I will be keeping a few furniture pieces and kitchen items in, but mostly it will be open for you to nest! It’s a cool place with a lot of character. The balcony gets beautiful sun and looks out over the pool. The breakfast nook looks on over the balcony, I’ve cleared the space and do yoga there! You have your own private bathroom with a shower or bath & shower, and the bedrooms have a ton of closet space! The apartment itself has a ridiculous amount amount of storage. Not pictured is the master bathroom. The master also has two closets, one walk in closet.

Private Master Suite in a Luxurious Home to Share w/ a Safe, Stable Family!

You’ll have the large beautiful master suite privately located on the first level tucked away from the main living area. The suite feels extra spacious with its soaring ceilings, natural light, large bathroom, and walk-in closet.

This custom home was newly built in 2017 with over 4,000 square feet of living space. As you can see by the floor plan, the home has a flowing layout. It’s located in a very safe, coveted neighborhood just a mile from the Sierra Madre Village. The second master and 3 bedrooms are located on the second floor.

You will have full access to the main level, except for Mark’s home office where he works from home as a consultant in the construction industry. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. We are not at all territorial and are very happy to share everything in the common living areas! The house is pretty well equipped, so it is not essential that you bring your own kitchen stuff, etc. However, we have a separate small self-contained “wok kitchen” that you would be more than welcome to call your own if desired.

We are looking for a hard-working professional female who is very neat and clean (very neat and clean :)) and can demonstrate a steady income. Mark and I have very busy schedules but do like to let loose, to go out and have fun (we don’t necessarily act our age). We are a health-conscious, athletic family. Mark is an accomplished triathlete. Our daughter, who skipped a grade, graduates this spring. Our son, a high school football and track star, is currently a junior in high school. We strive to keep a steady schedule with the kids fixing dinner at home most nights around 7 pm. We are open to eating dinner together at your desire!

We have one washer and dryer to share and thus, would need to set a loose schedule for their use. Our kids are not always thoughtful about taking their stuff out of the dryer or washer as soon as they are finished…so this is something we would need everyone to strive for, especially the kids ;)!

Because we have impressionable teens in the home, we have to be more particular with finding the right fit. As parents, we have to be careful about who is coming and going into the home. We do not want to prohibit the entertaining of guests. We would need to discuss your desires and establish an understanding to determine if we would be a good fit. This can be a bit tricky to navigate, right?

You must like animals as we have two furbabies that are very much a part of the family. We also have two horses that are stabled nearby. I am a trained Reiki Master; my specialty is animal reiki.

To recap, the ideal person to share our home with will possess the following:
good steady income, likes and needs to keep the home neat and clean (I’m the maid for the common areas and greatly appreciate help keeping it clean), friendly, out-going, respectful of other’s belongings, and respectful of each other’s need for quiet time. And, most importantly, thoughtful about the energy that is brought into the home.
