Lease is 4 months and then month-to-month. Rent includes all utilities as well as a large monthly budget for supplies and food staples.
Housemates are a mix of creatives and professionals. There is one house meeting per month and everyone contributes 2-4 hours of monthly chores. Most decisions and communication happen over Slack, and most things run as a do-ocracy. Projects are encouraged. In general folks keep a quiet and clean house, with occasional parties and dinners.
The room is on the smaller side (90 sqft), on the second floor with an amazing double-window.

There’s also a variety of excellent restaurants and shops to be found nearby on both Washington, and Main Street Santa Monica.
The bungalow features a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom (with clawfoot bath), a good sized kitchen, dining area, living area and small outdoor yard for storing surfboards/ bikes etc.
TV and high speed internet and access to all Streaming platforms with your own login. Washer/Dryer in the house, as well as a dishwasher.
The space is ideal for working from home, with everything so walkable. Previous guests have commented on how relaxing, simple and meditative the space is, and quiet at night for sleeping. The neighbors are all friendly and take care of each other.
This is a fully furnished bungalow for those working or staying in the city and want a home rather than a hotel stay. If you like to party this may not be the right spot for you. Looking for considerate, self sufficient guest who enjoys their privacy.

-Full time job and or steady income with ability to pay first and last month’s rent plus security deposit.
-$2,000/month rent. Plus bills.

-Must be able to provide personal references and previous living situation references
-Into the lifestyle and Play Party scene and down with monthly Play Parties at the house.
-Great communicator and able to address any concerns ASAP. But also understands proper timing.
