Sign up with emailI live in an RV in the foothills of Altadena. It is quite beautiful with a remote wilderness feeling while also not being far from everything. Altadena has it’s own unique laid back vibe; lots of good coffee shops, good hiking spots, and new restaurants opening up.
It is an escape from the hustle and bustle while not being inaccessible should you need it. It’s about 15 minutes from Highland Park and Mt. Washington, about 20 – 25 from Silver Lake, 30 minutes to Hollywood.
You will have a beautiful garden with copious amounts of space but I do have neighbors up the hill. Everyone is cool and we are all respectful and helpful neighbors. My landlord is also onsite up the hill. He is reliable and quick to respond.
I would be looking for someone who is responsible, clean, and friendly. The place is fully furnished. Rent includes all utilities. The RV has central air.
We have a studio apartment behind our house that we’re renting out. Includes a shared yard and hot tub. Bonus points if you’re up for occasional babysitting (we would pay, of course!) and if you want to help me build a climbing training wall. No wild, late parties (we’ve got kids and neighbors). We used to host lots of gatherings, bbq’s and dinners, and play board games and now is the perfect time to move in because we’re bringing them back. It might appear that the house is busy with a few people, however the house is ginormous (over 5500 sq ft).

The 5000 sq feet home is located inland from Del Mar, just before Fairbanks Ranch. It’s a 5 minute drive to the 5 freeway off Via de la Valle and 10 minutes to the beach. The home comes furnished with a pool table, huge dining room table for dinners with friends, huge kitchen (3 fridges), deck perfect for BBQ’s, and plenty of other furniture. There’s also additional furniture and some storage space in the garage too. We also have a lovely housekeeper who comes three times a month. The room is two in one! It has two rooms connected which are both spacious ~12 x ~15 and it’s perfect for an office! It also has a balcony too. I can also furnish it for a little extra if you’re interested.

One of the guys is huge into cryptocurrency, one of the women is an amazing hairstylist from Asheville, North Carolina, one of the women is from florida and loves music and to travel, another woman just left her engineering job to start up yoga teacher training, one of the women is an acupuncturist and plays the harp and sound healing bowls, one gentleman teaches swimming lessons and is a lifeguard plus part-time DJ, one of the men is a professional entrepreneur and avid runner, and another gentleman is an entrepreneur and loves the piano!
It’s an eclectic group that gets along super. We are a laid-back group who really enjoys working hard and each other’s company, as well as the company of other respectful, creative people. Hi conscious community! I just moved into a beautiful, full-of-character house in Eagle Rock/Highland Park area and am looking for a housemate to take the master bedroom. I’m 26, am a singer-songwriter-writer of other sorts (will be working from home often) and have a small hypo-allergenic dog. The rent for the master bedroom is $1750. The room has a cozy 2 chair & coffee table seating area. Closet is equipped w/hangers & other misc. wardrobe solutions with hardwood floors but with area rug. Closet size is 3.5 ft. deep by 5 ft. wide.
The room color scheme is burgundy, gray, chrome, white & cream. Carpeting is burgundy. Room size is 12 ft. deep by 14 ft. wide. Your monthly cost of $1,800 covers ALL utilities.
This also includes bathroom hygiene needs (all eco-friendly bath tissue, hand soap, cleaning supplies, laundry soap, dryer sheets). You can also freely use any of the condiments in the kitchen such as oils, spices, etc. I will be making the purchases & keeping the home supplied with these products, so you do not have to. You will be sharing only the shower/tub in the full-sized bathroom w/ me, but for other hygiene needs, I use the small back bathroom.
