Hi potential roommates and friends! I have a room available for move in immediately in Mar Vista. It’s a great location, walking to distance to lots of coffee shops and stores and just a couple miles to the beach in Venice. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedroom would not be furnished, but the rest of the apartment is somewhat furnished — I only moved in a couple months ago so the furnishing is still pretty minimal, and I am open to designing and decorating with you to make us both feel at home! There is a full size fridge, oven, microwave, gas stove, and dishwasher. There are laundry machines available in the building on our floor. There is a small balcony that gets a lot of sun, with trees right outside. The apartment is generally very quiet and peaceful feeling, and it is designed such that we enter the apartment from the outside, so it doesn’t feel like an enclosed building which is really nice. There is also a nice large outdoor courtyard area downstairs with a gazebo and lounge chairs.
I am living in the other bedroom and I am looking for a non-male identifying person who is kind, communicative and respectful. My hope is for our home to be a peaceful and safe environment for both of us, where we can each have our space and privacy, and hang out together sometimes as well. I work in mental health and work afternoons and nights 5 days a week, so I do spend a lot of time out of the house. But I like to feel that my home is like a comforting safe haven to come back to. Some of my favorite things to do — dancing, spending time in nature, hiking, playing music, going to concerts…

Amazing Highland Park Room for Rent!

Hello! My name is David, and I’m looking for a roommate for my 2 bed/2 bath home in Highland Park, starting August 1st. (I’m open to September 1 move in).

You will have your own bedroom and bathroom. This home was recently renovated and all the finishes, fixtures, and materials are new. It has central AC/heat, as well as a washer/dryer. There is a small garage in the back that can provide a little extra storage if needed.

This house and neighborhood are super charming! The street has a real sense of community and is around the corner from Amara Kitchen and a 5 minute drive from all the restaurants and bars in the heart of the Highland Park (York). It’s very close to the 110 and Interstate 5.

I will have the great room / kitchen fully furnished and decorated (still waiting on a few furniture deliveries), and I have a fair number of plants as well.

Hello, My name is Leslie. I am a 35 year old Artist with 2 lovely, very friendly kitties , Moon and Cloud 9.

I have been living in this space for 2 years and I love it. It is very close to main freeways, nightlife , restaurants and shops; the new NohoWest shopping center is 1.5 miles away & were surrounded by cute coffee shops. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Less than 10 minutes away from Ventura Blvd & close to many hiking trails, Fryman trail , Hollywood lake, Universal Studios , Sunday Farmers Market.There is plenty of street parking available and the building manager is very involved. The building has a pool , jacuzzi and community washer and dryer ($1 a wash 75 Cents to dry)

The space is a 2 bedroom , 2 bath apartment. The Master bedroom has a walk in closet and you will have your own bathroom with a shower filter provided for you The common areas , kitchen and living room are to be kept clean and free of clutter. I do allow 420 inside my house, however not in a habitual way aka hotboxing the room or apartment. the neighbors have a baby and I like to be respectful.
About me: I have a full schedule and will be in and out of my home depending on what day of the week it is. I enjoy cooking and often will have my music playing while doing chores. I am constantly cleaning , vacuum randomly if I see its needed, dusting a few shelves ( I like to maintain the cleanliness during the week) I live a very active lifestyle and also can relax all day. I host sound baths and small gatherings usually during a seasonal shift. I like my space and the silence this place provides. After a long day, I decompress by staring out the gorgeous view from the 3rd floor. The apartment is cozy, peaceful and inviting. I have friends come over fairly often to hang or go to the pool.

I’m looking for a (woman preferably but open to men if I feel the vibes are chill) who has steady income & is open minded. Brings peaceful energy & is mindful. Hi everyone!

We’re looking for a roommate who also feels more like a friend to join us in our 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home out in Spicewood! Currently its me and my partner, and sometimes our 7 year old (very well behaved and a joy to have around). We’re both pretty chill professionals in our early 40’s. I travel often between here and Australia and I work from home as an online coach so I’ll be working from my home office. We recently switched to an amazing Wi-Fi company so its not a problem if you work from home.

Our place is pretty relaxed, and we enjoy kicking back with movies. We’re open to having friends over, and on some weekends, our awesome 7-year-old hangs with us. Sometimes she’s here more, sometimes less, depending on her mom’s travels. We also go on trips, leaving the house wide open for your spaciousness.

We’re looking for people who aren’t heavy or daily drinkers, no substance-abuse, etc.. You’re very welcome to work from home; we have a lot of nooks where you can sit and work or relax. My partner is out during the day and home in the evenings and weekends. We prefer people who aren’t vaccinated but open to open minded individuals who respect that we are not.

We value things like sovereignty, good vibes, peace, and healthy living—You can be vegetarian or vegan, no problem, but we aren’t (we do enjoy grass fed and organic locally grown meat) . We have good, clean water that comes from a well, plus a fancy 5-stage reverse osmosis filter system. We keep things chemical-free, using vinegar and natural stuff for cleaning.

We also have two cats, and one is a snuggler.
We’re all about shared responsibility, like keeping things clean and tackling those dishes pronto.

The room up for grabs is on the first floor, close to the kitchen, with its own bathroom. It’s bright, thanks to a big window with nice shutters. Beautiful views of our front yard. The house has a long gated driveway so theres no traffic in our windows and lots of privacy. Sometimes we see foxes on our 2&1/2 acre property. We’re very close to the Perdenales River and have great river view sunsets!
