Hi everyone!

We’re looking for a roommate who also feels more like a friend to join us in our 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home out in Spicewood! Currently its me and my partner, and sometimes our 7 year old (very well behaved and a joy to have around). We’re both pretty chill professionals in our early 40’s. I travel often between here and Australia and I work from home as an online coach so I’ll be working from my home office. We recently switched to an amazing Wi-Fi company so its not a problem if you work from home.

Our place is pretty relaxed, and we enjoy kicking back with movies. We’re open to having friends over, and on some weekends, our awesome 7-year-old hangs with us. Sometimes she’s here more, sometimes less, depending on her mom’s travels. We also go on trips, leaving the house wide open for your spaciousness.

We’re looking for people who aren’t heavy or daily drinkers, no substance-abuse, etc.. You’re very welcome to work from home; we have a lot of nooks where you can sit and work or relax. My partner is out during the day and home in the evenings and weekends. We prefer people who aren’t vaccinated but open to open minded individuals who respect that we are not.

We value things like sovereignty, good vibes, peace, and healthy living—You can be vegetarian or vegan, no problem, but we aren’t (we do enjoy grass fed and organic locally grown meat) . We have good, clean water that comes from a well, plus a fancy 5-stage reverse osmosis filter system. We keep things chemical-free, using vinegar and natural stuff for cleaning.

We also have two cats, and one is a snuggler.
We’re all about shared responsibility, like keeping things clean and tackling those dishes pronto.

The room up for grabs is on the first floor, close to the kitchen, with its own bathroom. It’s bright, thanks to a big window with nice shutters. Beautiful views of our front yard. The house has a long gated driveway so theres no traffic in our windows and lots of privacy. Sometimes we see foxes on our 2&1/2 acre property. We’re very close to the Perdenales River and have great river view sunsets!

My husband and I like to host people who are looking for interesting, safe, self-sufficient, busy and friendly people with whom to live. Our children are grown and we have the space and inclination to share our home.

We have lived and worked internationally and locally with many people and really appreciated the infrastructure and environment that were provided for us when we arrived in a new city. We wish to do the same for others by providing a beautiful place by the beach where you can just unpack your bags and get going with your life’s work…. and then skip down to the beach!

The 2280 Sq. ft unit occupies the entire second floor of this historic CA triplex. It features a large kitchen, washer/dryer, hardwood floors, fireplace and enclosed sunporch with full ocean views. Yard with fruit trees and BBQ options…..beach life keeps you healthy.

THE ROOM w/ balcony:
-Private room (10′ x 15′) with walk-in closet, semi-private balcony and hallway.
-In 3 bedroom, 2 bath Craftsman-period triplex (Vintage wood detailing, built in 1915).
-Great morning light and air.
-Room is provided furnished with bedding, curtains, etc. if desired.

Santa Monica is a great place to live in Los Angeles, often 10-30 degrees cooler at the beach. Four people total occupancy in the 3 BR unit. Avoid all the expense of moving into an empty apartment. No pets.

THE LOCAL COMMUNITY:
Ocean Park, a small neighborhood in Santa Monica, is rarely hot (ocean breeze), has good air quality and offers great access to the outdoors: surfing/beach/volleyball/yoga, 18 mile bike path, farmers markets.

Ocean Park is the only part of Santa Monica where you can walk to the beach without crossing a highway.

– The street is busy and has an urban feel while the neighborhood is residential.
– 3 Big Blue Bus Lines(#1,8,18) directly to UCLA within 5-minute walk.

Furnished Detached Guesthouse | Smart House | Beach | LAX

We welcome you to stay in this peaceful and centrally-located private studio and shared smart house! This is a safe residential neighborhood with the perks of having an 85 walk score. It is within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and a 6 min drive to the beach (or 15 min on bike)! Not to mention the close proximity to LAX without the airplane noise. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress, dining table, and a flat-screen TV, play station, and a Firestick. The home comes with fully upgraded stainless steel appliances and luxury furnishings such as a full-size refrigerator, gas stove, and oven. For security, the front door is equipped with a Schlage lock in addition to multiple external Ring Cameras and floodlights (there are no cameras inside the unit). There is a shared yard with a basketball hoop and two patio lounge areas. One that is private to you and the other that is shared with my partner, myself, and our mini poodle. The space is ideal for outdoor bbq hangs since the weather is always perfect by the beach. You will also have access to the main house which includes a gourmet kitchen, living room with fireplace, guest room/office/music studio, and washer/dryer. We hope to create a comfortable community where we can possibly jointly host gatherings, enjoy dinner together, co-work etc. It is important to us to be compatible with our new housemates.

Potentially 2 bedrooms available. Looking for a roommate to rent one (long) bedroom room with a full bathroom (one level above) in a large four-bedroom/four-story house (4,000 + sq. ft). Or the master bedroom with a full bathroom for $2000 a month. There would be no one living above or below either rooms. There is also a private exterior entrance one stairway below, in addition the main front door 1 floor above.

Located in the Hollywood Hills by Sunset Plaza Dr. and Wonderland/Lookout Mountain off of Laurel Canyon. AMAZING city and ocean view from front of the house and mountains with greenery from the back patios. You will have access to two shared patios. Very secure house with security cameras outside. Lots of great scenic walking areas! The house is centrally located in Laurel Canyon, easily access the Valley side or West Hollywood, and even take the back roads to Beverly Hills or West LA.

The long room has ample space to fit a queen or king bed, small nightstand + dresser, small desk or a futon/small couch or lounge chair + more! Perfect to use it as a writing studio, office space, production studio etc. 🙂 There isn’t a built-in closet in the longer room, but the past tenants used either the rolling rack because they were a super minimalist or a tall double wardrobe closet.

There is no one that sleeps above or below you. The long room is very secure, all side doors have a metal gated door and can be opened for fresh air. The room can be heated with an electrical heater during cold days.

*BONUS: there is a Pristine Hydro reverse osmosis Water system in the upstairs kitchen installed. Properly mineralized water that is 100% free of undesirable acids and contaminants.

Utilities will be split between roommates depending on the number of people that live at the house.

About us: 3 roommates In a huge house (4 floors) . We are all private yet friendly busy individuals, chill and clean.

One roommate works in marketing and promotions and is usually out of town. She is quiet and chill, sometimes on zoom calls for work. The guy roommate is a healer/ hypnotherapist and author. He’s usually either seeing clients, creating content for his work in his room, or in the kitchen making raw vegan food – he is at his one 1-2 offices days a week. The other girl works at a media company and is gone 4 days a week at office.

We all don’t party in the house and we are all chill and of kind heartedness! Still fun but all very busy with work. Feel free to ask any additional questions 🙂

We require a first month’s rent + security deposit, references and decent credit. Lease is from Feb 25 or March 1st until Nov 30, 2024, then it will go to a 6 month lease each time if all parties agree 🙂

About the house:
The house is 3 bedroom, 2 bath. It has a cute vintage interior with a very large living room and dining room which we furnished to feel cozy and look stylish with lots of fun art and plants. The kitchen is super big with a ton of counter space and beautiful, custom-made, wooden cabinetry. The backyard has a covered deck and grassy area where we will be creating a perfect space for relaxing or working outdoors with various sitting areas, tables and a hammock. There’s a long driveway and plenty of street parking. There is also a laundry room with a new washer and dryer. There’s A/C throughout the whole house. We are located in South LA on W 73rd St near Western Avenue. There’s a vegan cafe just 3 minutes from us and a couple grocery stores just a mile away. We also discovered a super cute cafe (Awakening) just a 10 minute drive that has a gorgeous workspace with good food/ drinks. The neighborhood, itself, is very chill – quiet, surrounded by cute houses and trees.

About Us:
My partner, Drew, and I are both vegan chefs and we love sharing the plethora of delicious vegan foods we create! Outside of working at events and in client’s houses, we work from home often. Since we cook a lot, we make a lot of messes and we also clean daily.

We have indoor/outdoor kitties that are super sweet and snuggly. Drew is also a DJ and techno music producer and we like to have parties a few times a year. We love traveling, hiking, yoga, comedy, self development, singing (badly ?), dancing and being silly.

(PRIVATE UNIT) ISO someone who is quiet, friendly, respectful and loves nature! quiet, non aggressive pets welcome (other units have friendly dogs that play in the yard). must be flexible with move in date.

up for sublet is the place i have called my sanctuary for the last few years. it is one unit all to yourself in a three unit historic spanish house. i am looking for someone to take over my sublease indefinitely starting in either May, July or August at the latest. currently i am month to month and am waiting to find my next perfect place before i leave this one. so ideally you are flexible with your move in date.

the house is situated atop a small mountain and has private parking and views for days. can not count how many sunsets i’ve watched here. in this downstairs unit there is tile throughout and so so much natural light. also a private balcony right off your living room and bedroom and tons of outdoors space to start that garden you’ve been wanting. unit also has a non pictured walk in closet. all outdoor spaces are communal minus your private balcony, no one will use that. be warned, you will wake up to birdsong!

the other house mates (in their own units) are who you will be subleasing from and they are two single, 50+ women who are very quiet! they also enjoy the peacefulness.

the place is $1850 and all utilities are split evenly between the three units.
