Ideally I’m looking to find a casita or room with a private entrance. A minimal amount of kitchen access is needed, but I usually cook most of my meals for the week ahead of time. I’d like to find a bedroom for myself and a shared room for kids. Depending on the house, sharing a room with my daughter is okay if the room is larger. My daughter and I are home 3-4 nights a week.
